I Have a Vision

Religion is a sensitive issue. Ever since the popularisation of novels such as Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, conspiracies hidden by Christianity has been exposed and discussed. What is religion? Why is religion in its place? What is its function? I have a view where all religions promote some sort of values in which they believe are posed for the good. If so, what is "good" or "right"? Then what is "bad" or "wrong"? Do they have some sort of common grounds? How are these similarities comparable to each other? "Look for similarities, not differences, and be in awe for their stiking results - they are exactly parallel." We need not only to understand ourselves, but also others as a form of reflection on ourselves. Does this apply to religion? Should we not only understand our own, but also learn about other religions? Most religions have symbols/figure to represent their beliefs and values for believers to apply their faith. Some specifically have a small range of figurines while others maintain a larger range of figurines. If the figurines represented values of love, shouldn't they also set examples to believers by loving other religions' figurines? ~~~~~~~~~~~~Harmony~~~~~~~~~~~ is often a dream, but I hope it can be viewed by many.... ~an* *The author only takes artistic licence to express a comment. Transformed

I've been back from a school trip to Thailand right after exams have finished. This trip was no normal trip. We were transformed from 10 mere schoolmates to a group of supportive network for each other. Personally I believe that ALL of us in this trip have carried a special experience/reward pouch in their hearts back to their life. Here I would like to give thanks to those in the trip. Thank you to the works of mysterious powers who have enlightened me and many others in this trip. Thank you to everyone of our friends who are on this trip. You are EM, IL, DL, TD, PHT, KL, RP, GF and TP. Also many thanks to our teachers, Instructor and her assistant, the local tour guides and very friendly people of Thailand. I will remember you all. You have made this trip very very special to me. Thank you for sharing yourself. You have brought me new views of you in little ways and I deeply appreciate you for who you are. I believe that your talents will take you far. I can see ur uniqueness and ur being here with us has made this trip full of the unison of all our personalities. The most shocking of all is that we never had a group photo!!! But I think this trip has bond us more than just a photo. There is something special we'd all share through our lives. "When you understand the life story of a being, you are able to step into their shoes and appreciate them for who they are for what they have been through. You will rejoice in their happiness and cry with their sadness. You will find compassion and empathy along with a stronger bond between. This is the nature of love in friendship, relationships that booms with everyone around the globe." To those who shared our experiences: Thank you. ~an*
