Food Guide for Syd & places around the world: Grab Your Fork

Grab Your Fork seems to be a very comprehensive guide for good restaurants around the city etc. Looks good :D I *heart* QUALITY FOOD :D I stumped upon this through mooncake searching for the upcoming mooncake festival - usually in HK they have a BIG thing about it - it's almost like x'mas, but instead of presents, they have all sorts of packages of mooncakes available 2 - 3 months ahead - that's how serious the sales are - it's crazy. Except the post here is almost one year old - I found the post for last year's mid autumn festival...-_-" Looks like it's a hunt around Chinatown for the mooncakes and the paper lantern. *Goes off in the hunt for "essentials" of Mid Autumn Festival in the Northern Hemisphere (It's Mid Spring Festival for the downunder...)* Requlish your childhood innocence *Laugh like there's no other laugh, dance like no one's watching and sing like there's no other performance*

Those dreaded chain questionaire/mail etc....+ related rant

Ha I'm gonna bring this chain. I don't care about the so-called consequences. I don't see how it will bring the bad luck for relationships! I've broken endless amount of "bad luck bringing" emails/forwards/chains. They only exist if one believes in them, and I don't. I believe that it's simply a matter of belief. If you believe the consequences, so they will happen. If not, you'll still survive. The main reason they're there is to use people's feeling of fear and guilt to spread this chain questionaire around. The "consequence" encourages people to continue. I've seen this heaps of times - shows the effectiveness of it... 點我的人: Joyce 填寫日期: 15/09/06 愛的音樂: play the song, and i'll tell u if i like it or not (I do not go by categories) [canto, mandarin, some pop, english, oldie, classical, relaxing, easy listening songs..etcetc] 愛的顏色: blue, orange, olive/binge, yellow, grey-green (depends on the usage) 愛的國家: Hong Kong, Aust, NZ, France, Austria/Swiss/Italy/Germany 愛的汽車: The well-maintained, old used family we used to haf. The original intention of 香水 was to hide sth. Yeh I know it's bodily smells, but think about it. The action is to hide. It suggests that the body has something to be shameful of. Who invented the idea that body smells are bad, artifical smells are good? We made artifical smells, they're called esters. We had a tentative sniff of them, they smell disgusting! I can think of some good smelling natural smells: freshly cooked dishes, coffee, peeling the orange/lemon, natural cooking herbs/spices, flowers, fresh air, ocean air, early morning dewed bush air, etc. Whatever happened to those? Now there's such an abundance of perfumes etc, it's really a joke - they're just after the money while we are after "an image" - a projected image of us out there. At the end of the day, the body uses its own smells, not the artifical smells you add on every now and then, the most, so I'd say - Get used to it! It's part of YOU! ~an*
